FSS Act, 2006 ರ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬರುವ Food Safety and Standards (FSS) Regulations

FSSAI ಭಾರತದ ಆಹಾರ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ. ಯಾವ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಬಳಸಬಹುದು, ಲೇಬಲ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಏನು ಮುದ್ರಿಸಬೇಕು, ಟ್ರಾನ್ಸ್ ಫ್ಯಾಟ್‌ಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಿತಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ತಿ ನಿಷೇಧ ಎಂದು ಅದರ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಗಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತವೆ. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರುವ ಪ್ರತಿ ಪ್ಯಾಕೆಟ್ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳೇ ಕಾನೂನು.

PFA - Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954

ಭಾರತದ ಹಳೆಯ ಆಹಾರ ಕಾನೂನು, ಈಗ FSS Act, 2006 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಹೋಗಿದೆ

FSSAI ಬರುವ ಮೊದಲು, ಕಲಬೆರಕೆ ಆಹಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಭಾರತದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಸ್ತ್ರ PFA ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯೇ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಲಬೆರಕೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗಲೂ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಇಂದಿನ ಲೇಬಲ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಂದೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಬಾರದ ಹಳೆಯ ಚಾಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಲು. ಈ ಮೂಲದಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿಯಮ ಕೆಂಪೇ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಕ್ಕೆ ಜಾಗವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅಂಥ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿಲ್ಲ, ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ಇದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಗುರುತೂ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

  • PFA ಕಾಲದ ಕಲಬೆರಕೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳು - ಅನುಮತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳು, ಅನುಮತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃತಕ ಸಿಹಿಕಾರಕಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ತುಂಬುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು.

ಸಲಹೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ಅಲ್ಲ - ಭಾರತದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪೋಷಣೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದ

ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಸಮತೋಲಿತ ಊಟ ಹೇಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು Indian Council of Medical Research ಮತ್ತು National Institute of Nutrition ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಇವು ಕಾನೂನುಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿಗಳು, ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇವುಗಳಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಸಂಗತಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ: ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡುವ ಒಂದು ಸಂಗತಿ, ನಿಯಮ ಮೀರಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪ ಅಲ್ಲ.

  • ದಿನದ ಊಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿದ ಸಕ್ಕರೆ, ಉಪ್ಪು ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿಗೆ ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳು.
