Questions about this recipe
Can I use a different milk for this drink?
Yes, you can swap the toned milk for another milk listed in your kitchen, keeping the same 500 ml quantity for 2 servings.
Why roast the wheat flour first?
Roasting the whole wheat flour for 3 minutes removes its raw smell and gives the drink a toasty, malted flavor.
How long does this drink keep?
Serve it warm right away, or store it in an airtight container in the fridge and use within 1 day.
Can I add more jaggery?
You can increase the jaggery slightly, but 20 g per 2 servings keeps the drink balanced and not overly sweet.
